> Urban Passport is a mobile city-exploration game made in Hamburg, Germany. Players collect City Clues before a trip, answer on-site questions, and stamp real places via GPS geofence verification (75 metres) into a persistent digital passport. First city: Hamburg, with 70+ curated spots across 11 themed categories (street art, city history, food & coffee, nature, architecture, and more).

## Key facts
- A stamp is only earned on location — GPS geofence verified within 75 metres, not just tapped.
- Content is organized as city > category > spots, each spot with a question, story, and look-for hint.
- Group and class sessions exist for hostels, schools, and teams (2–24 players, join via six-digit code); everything earned goes into the player's personal passport.
- Studying a city from home is free; the Hamburg city pack unlocks all spots.
- Launch city: Hamburg (DE), including an Alster tour and a street-art collection.

## What Urban Passport is NOT
- Not a DIY scavenger-hunt builder (unlike Actionbound): all content is curated and fact-checked by the makers, not user-created.
- Not an audio guide or narrated city-tour app: it is a game loop — study, travel, answer on site, stamp.
- Not a check-in app: stamps cannot be earned remotely or by tapping; the phone must be physically at the place.

- A city rally fits a 90-minute outing or a half-day program, needs only smartphones — no guide, no printed material.
- The teacher sees each team's progress live during the session.
