How does the app know we are actually at the place?
On site, GPS confirms that a team is really standing there. The radius is set per spot and lies between 18 and 75 metres — tight enough that standing across the canal does not count. Only then does the stamp appear, and only then does it count towards the score. That is the difference to a check-in app: a stamp cannot be tapped remotely, and a question cannot be answered from home.

Between 60 and 120 minutes, depending on the route. A compact area such as Speicherstadt with five or six spots takes about 60 to 75 minutes on foot; a route across several districts runs closer to two hours. You choose the length when you build the route.
How many people can play?
Friends Game – up to 6 devices covers a small group, and a device shared by two people counts once. Above that the sizes are Private Game – up to 10, Class Game – up to 35 and Large Group Game – up to 100 participants.
Does everyone in the group need the app?
No, one smartphone per team is enough. Whoever builds the route downloads the app and creates the game; everyone else joins with the shared game code as guests, without an account of their own.
What happens if it rains?
The round is outdoors, and in drizzle most groups play anyway — some spots are under cover, for example in the Speicherstadt. Postponing costs nothing and the game code stays valid.
Do we need to print anything?
No. There is no puzzle envelope, no worksheet and no material to copy. The route, the questions and the score all live in the app; the only thing you share is the game code.
Does it work for a hen do or a birthday?
Yes. Teams play against each other at real places instead of working through a list of dares, which also works when not everyone wants to drink. A podium at the end gives the round a clear finish.
